You will be supervised by the Development Director but will be working very closely with the CEO and marketing team to scope projects and review analysis.

You will learn how to maintain existing reports, develop new reports and analyse and interpret the data points that we already collect. You’ll be involved in a number of projects that you’ll be able to develop and take to their completion.

Some examples of previous projects indicative of the work you might get involved with include:

  • Using job adverts to measure the value of skills and to identify new (and redundant) skill clusters
  • Improving our understanding of career transitions using longitudinal administrative data
  • Using a national dataset to compare the diversity of GetMyFirstJob candidates to apprenticeship starts
  • Understanding user behaviour on our website and how this could be retargeted for improved engagement on social media

Our ideal candidate:

  • You’ll be an excellent team player, with the ability to work flexibly and sensitively with policymakers, businesses and other researchers.
