1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the website at thetalentpeople.co.uk (the “Site”), operated by The Talent People (“we”, “us”, “our”), a registered social enterprise in England and Wales. By accessing the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms do not apply to the TalentHub platform at hub.thetalentpeople.co.uk, which is governed by separate platform agreements.
2. Using the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its associated systems
- Use automated tools (scrapers, crawlers, bots) to extract content from the Site without our prior written consent
- Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
- Use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is either owned by us or licensed to us. It is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission, except where permitted by law.
The Talent People name, logo, and any associated marks are our registered or unregistered trade marks. Nothing on the Site grants you any right to use them.
4. Content accuracy
We try to keep the information on the Site current and accurate, but we make no warranties of any kind as to its completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We reserve the right to amend content at any time without notice.
5. Third-party links and content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only; we have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Linking does not imply endorsement.
Roundtable registration forms are embedded via HubSpot. Use of those forms is also subject to HubSpot’s terms of service.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising in connection with the Site shall not exceed £100.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you consent to the practices described there.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
